svoltra

Better structures for better conversations.

Short, interactive activities that help a group think, talk and decide together. People write alone first, compare in pairs, then respond as a group. Judgement stays with the facilitator.

How svoltra feels

For small groups, from a team retro to a workshop.

svoltra’s facilitator view of a Friday retro at the Share stage: three cards agreed by pairs about easier handovers, each with anonymous comments, beside the stages panel and the timer.
Priya’s phone at the Compare stage: her partner is Ben, and their agreed card for the group reads “We agree on a short overlap. We differ on whether it should be paid time.”
svoltra running a Friday retro: the facilitator’s view as the group shares what pairs agreed, and a participant’s phone during the pair stage.

Behaviours

Calm by design

  1. Alone, then a pair, then everyone

Everyone forms a view before the loudest voice shapes the room. Random pairs compare notes and agree a card, then the group responds.

  2. You know who will see it

Every writing step says who will read it, whether that's only you, your partner or everyone. Votes, ratings and positions show only as totals.

  3. Adjusted live

The facilitator can reshuffle pairs, skip or add stages, or change how people respond while the huddle runs.
